So I was arrested last night for suspicion of DUI in the Astro Restaurant parking lot. Fortunately, I hadn't drank one bit of alcohol for a week, but apparently coming out of the Cha Cha Lounge at 140am and making a wild four lane U turn and then saying I was just tired and my eyes were bloodshot from my sinus infection wasn't convincing to the local northeast division lapd officer. apparently, i didn't perform the stupid little tests in the parking lot perfectly either. You think a police officer would know a drunk when he sees one...well, i was taken in handcuffs in the back of the squad car to the local station and proceeded to blow .00 into the breathalizer. The officer then drove me back to the Astro, apologized and said to enjoy my dinner. Of course, this all was a lucky break. This was likely the 30th time i've pulled that same u-turn in front of that same bar, and this was the first and only time i haven't had any booze in my system. so after all that, here is the song that was on the radio as i rode in handcuffs in the back of the police cruiser to the station.
